Scoring/Creasing

Scoring or creasing is a mechanical process that creates a depression in the paper so it is easier to fold. It precedes folding if there’s possibility to damage the image because of paint coat cracking at the folding line. For this purpose a special scoring machine or creaser is used. It is used for brochures, booklets and desk calendars production.
